Job Description

Meta is seeking a Content Engineer, GenAI to join its GenAI Content Engineering team, a horizontal function supporting initiatives across the broader GenAI organization. The team combines diverse backgrounds in journalism, creative storytelling, visual arts, production, and more to help build and ship AI-powered products from lab to production.

In this role, you will deliver high-quality editorial work, develop quality guidelines, generate content insights, and collaborate with product and technical teams to create innovative AI tools and experiences. This position requires expertise in linguistics, speech data collection and annotation, prompt engineering, and content quality control. You will lead projects, influence processes, and contribute to building products for diverse communities and niche topics.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver completion of high-quality editorial work in a fast-paced environment.

• Develop guidelines and measurement frameworks to set product quality standards.

• Generate content-focused insights to fuel product strategy.

• Lead through influence and collaboration across teams.

• Identify scalable processes and opportunities to improve workflows.

Minimum Qualifications:

• 8+ years in digital content strategy, journalism, production, or linguistics.

• 1+ years with GenAI products, prompt engineering, annotation, or content labeling.

• Strong background in linguistics or phonetics with expertise in speech datasets.

• Experience with speech data collection, transcription, and annotation.

• Proven cross-functional collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with product team roadmapping and delivery.

• Familiarity with AP Style.
