Job Description
Honeywell seeks an experienced Lead Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning Engineer with expertise in speech processing to develop real-time speech anonymization solutions. This role involves designing, training, and optimizing AI/ML models to ensure speaker de-identification while maintaining high performance in CPU/GPU environments.
Responsibilities:

Develop advanced speech transformation and pseudo-generation models.

Design and implement ML architectures including multi-head attention transformers, VAEs, and RNN/LSTM/CNN models for speech anonymization.

Optimize models for real-time performance using quantization and compression.

Implement streaming audio processing with Voice Activity Detection (VAD).

Develop and optimize AI models for CPU/GPU using TensorFlow and PyTorch.

Train on large-scale datasets and automate testing/training.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams for integration.

Conduct applied research and respond to government funding solicitations.

Submit patents and publications.
Requirements:
-
Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline (STEM).

6+ years in AI/ML model development for speech/audio processing.

Expertise in CPU/GPU parallelism, multi-threading, and real-time computing.
Preferred Qualifications:

Master’s/Ph.D. in Computer Science, AI, ML, or related field.

Deep speech processing experience (speech synthesis, de-identification, voice conversion, noise handling).

Proficient in Python, PyTorch, and TensorFlow.

Skilled in model optimization and GPU deep learning (CUDA, cuDNN).

Experience with VAE, transformer architectures, Linux, iOS, and speech enhancement.
