Stuut is transforming accounts receivable for B2B companies—making collections smarter and faster for companies that have historically relied on manual processes that are labor intensive and costly. We’re seeking an exceptional Senior Applied AI Engineer to drive the practical implementation and deployment of AI solutions within our financial operations platform. This role focuses on taking AI research and models and transforming them into production-ready systems that solve real-world financial challenges.
What You Will Do:

Build and deploy production AI applications that directly solve customer financial workflow challenges.

Implement and optimize AI-driven features including intelligent invoice matching, automated payment reconciliation, and financial document processing.

Design practical AI solutions by adapting and fine-tuning existing models for specific financial use cases.

Develop robust AI pipelines from data ingestion to model inference, ensuring reliability and scalability in production environments.

Create AI-powered automation workflows that reduce manual financial operations tasks.

Collaborate closely with product teams to translate business requirements into effective AI solutions.

Implement evaluation frameworks to measure AI system performance and business impact.

Drive adoption of AI solutions by working with customers to understand their needs and optimize system performance.
Requirements:
-
5+ years of software engineering experience, with at least 2 years focused on applying AI/ML in production environments.

Hands-on experience with:

Large Language Models (LLMs) integration and fine-tuning

Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG) systems

Production MLOps and model deployment pipelines

AI optimization and performance tuning

Strong programming skills in Python and experience with PyTorch, TensorFlow, Transformers.

Proven track record of shipping AI products that solve real business problems.

Experience integrating AI into existing software platforms.

Strong understanding of production ML systems (monitoring, A/B testing, continuous improvement).

Solid background in data preprocessing and feature engineering.

Ability to translate business requirements into technical AI solutions.
Compensation & Benefits:

Salary: $200,000 – $300,000 a year + equity package
