Job Description
Become part of NIKE’s Corporate Functions Artificial Intelligence team and help develop and deliver cutting-edge machine learning and generative AI solutions that impact the business globally. This role requires a strong foundation in Python, algorithms and data structures, AWS, database technologies (PostgreSQL, Redis), and data processing tools (SageMaker, Databricks). You will be working in an agile product model, collaborating with cross-functional teams, mentoring others, and contributing back to the engineering and analytics communities within Nike.
Key Responsibilities:

Design and implement scalable applications leveraging prediction models and optimization programs for data-driven decision-making.

Contribute to core analytics, machine learning, and generative AI platforms and tools.

Collaborate with business stakeholders, product owners, and engineering teams across a global organization to deliver impactful solutions.

Ensure quality and reliability through code reviews, CI/CD, and modern MLOps practices.
Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field (or equivalent experience).

5-7 years of software engineering experience and 3+ years in machine learning engineering.

Expertise in Python, MLOps, Docker, CI/CD, and frameworks such as Scikit-learn, PyTorch, TensorFlow, Spark, and FastAPI.

Strong knowledge of AWS (ECR, SageMaker, Lambda, API Gateway).

Experience with data structures, data modeling, and software architecture.

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with leadership experience in technical projects.
