Job Description
In the Data team at EBANX, you’ll own the design and deployment of scalable AI systems in production. You will develop and optimize AI models for robustness, explainability, and efficiency; build and maintain production-grade infrastructure including APIs, data pipelines, and services; implement and oversee CI/CD pipelines for model deployment and updates; collaborate across data scientists, software engineers, and stakeholders to translate business requirements into actionable AI solutions; ensure AI systems comply with security, privacy, and ethical standards; troubleshoot production issues related to AI systems with rigorous testing and validation; and mentor team members on best practices in AI engineering, model deployment, and system integration.
Must-haves:

Hands-on experience in Data Science, Machine Learning Engineering, or a related field.

Proven expertise building impactful products using advanced AI services (e.g., GPT, Google Gemini, AWS Bedrock).

Strong programming skills in Python, with high-quality, maintainable code.

Proficiency with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure), deploying AI services and managing cloud resources.

Experience with containerization tools (Docker) and orchestration platforms (Kubernetes).

Good knowledge of CI/CD tools and processes (GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, Jenkins).

Solid understanding of data engineering concepts, ETL processes, and data pipeline architectures.

Experience with monitoring/logging solutions for AI systems (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, DataDog).

Awareness of security standards and compliance requirements relevant to AI/data systems.
