Job Description

Job Summary:
Pure Imagination Studios is hiring an Applied AI Specialist to develop and integrate generative AI tools into immersive storytelling, simulation, and training environments. You’ll be joining a hybrid team in Kansas working on high-stakes, game-like systems that merge creativity with tactical intelligence.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prototype and deploy AI tools to support content creation and simulation delivery

• Work with OpenAI, Whisper, ElevenLabs, Runway, and Stable Diffusion platforms

• Build prompt libraries, automation pipelines, and intelligent workflows

• Evaluate new AI capabilities and maintain documentation

• Train internal teams on prompt design, automation, and effective AI usage

• Develop internal utilities using Python, JavaScript, Zapier, or Make

• Contribute to AI strategy, ethics, governance, and best practices

• Travel up to 15% for project installations

• Be onsite in Kansas office 4 days/week (hybrid model)

Qualifications:

• Associate’s degree required; bachelor’s preferred

• 3–5 years of automation, ML, or AI tool integration experience

• 1–2 years using modern generative AI tools (ChatGPT, Stable Diffusion, etc.)

• Strong scripting/automation skills (Python, JS, Zapier, Make)

• Experience with real-time systems, creative production pipelines, or simulation environments

• Passion for storytelling and immersive learning experiences

Bonus If You Have:

• Experience with educational game development

• Worked with tactile interfaces or counselor support tools

• Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills

Compensation & Benefits:

• Base salary: $120,000 + bonus eligibility
