Job Description

The Chief Digital and Artificial Intelligence Office (CDAO) is seeking mission-driven technical professionals with expertise in AI, machine learning, data science, and emerging technologies to help shape the future of national defense. As a Technical Professional in AI, you will design, develop, and deploy advanced AI solutions in support of Department of Defense (DoD) missions. You’ll work on cutting-edge projects at the intersection of technology, defense, and innovation, collaborating with a diverse team of technologists, operators, and leaders.
Responsibilities include:

• Developing and deploying AI/ML models for mission-critical applications.

• Designing advanced analytics, statistical models, and decision-support tools.

• Building scalable, resilient, and secure digital platforms and products.

• Automating ML pipelines, optimizing deployments, and managing large datasets.

• Applying responsible AI frameworks, ethics, and model assurance practices.

• Leading or contributing to complex AI/tech programs in fast-paced environments.

• Collaborating with defense and federal stakeholders to deliver impactful solutions.

Qualifications:

• Strong background in AI, data science, software engineering, or related field.

• Experience building or deploying solutions in mission-critical environments.

• TS/SCI clearance (or willingness to obtain).

• Experience with defense/national security is preferred but not required.
