Senior AI Scientist

AXA XL is seeking a Senior AI Scientist to design, build, and deliver scalable AI capabilities that drive business value, competitive advantage, and innovation. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop enterprise-wide AI solutions, leveraging the latest technology, and implementing best practices to optimize performance, efficiency, and customer experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and deploy scalable AI solutions for prioritized projects.

• Collaborate with data scientists, developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to enhance strategic AI products.

• Conduct code reviews, debug, and optimize application performance for low latency, high availability, and efficiency.

• Mentor and guide a team of AI and ML developers through the entire AI development lifecycle.

• Evaluate and integrate GenAI technologies into the company’s AI product portfolio.

• Promote continuous improvement and innovation in AI and data science practices.

• Maintain a customer-first approach, prioritizing stakeholder needs in all AI initiatives.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field.

• Hands-on experience with the full AI development lifecycle — from ideation to deployment and monitoring.

• Experience with GenAI tools and technologies.

• Strong knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases.

• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure), containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and CI/CD pipelines.

• Several years of experience in Data Science, AI, or related technical roles.

• Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills.
